Public consciousness is an objective reality, even if we assume that an individual can be the creator of history. Features of social and humanitarian knowledge in its external accessibility and internal complexity. Much can be said, but not everything should be believed.
History has shown mankind many times what follows from the disruption of the normal functioning of social relations and what threatens the neglect of the humanities. Society is like an ocean, there will always be waves, sometimes tsunamis. But in its normal state, this is a peaceful living space, dynamically and continuously developing. A calm and planned existence is provided by the natural and objective laws of the universe. Violations of these laws always entail an adequate and inevitable reaction.
Society is the reason for the formation of the spectrum of social sciences and humanities
Usually, social and humanitarian knowledge is classified as a science about society, man, historyand culture. It is believed that the subject here is the analysis of the patterns of social life.
Life is inextricably linked with the processes of cognition and mental activity, as a result of which information appears, specific actions are performed, cultural values are created, food and products necessary for life and work are produced, and scientific and technological progress develops.
Man himself is a complex system. And he lives in the world of a huge number of other systems, of which the most complex and largest is social. Moreover, the society accessible to man is not only multifaceted. It appears to a person as a system of accessible levels, which are not only nested in each other, but can also be built as independent pyramids of levels in arbitrary relationships with their own kind and individuals.
If we imagine an individual person as a point, then the social environment surrounding him is a strictly tuned system of points, each of which is connected to a mass of others. A connection between points can arise, disappear and form again.
General social structure
A person can be born, and another point will appear, another reason to form a new bundle of social ties. When a person dies, the social spectrum of relationships he has formed collapses.
If the general laws of the structure of society work in the formation of social ties (birth), then the social result of a person’s life insociety. This is a system of social and humanitarian knowledge: social science in practice.
Stars never fall from the sky, planets never change their trajectories. The forces of gravity are so great that it is impossible to change anything in the structure of the Universe. Society is a social universe. A person, or a group of people, or the state may believe that it is in their power to change something in the social space. But when society calms down, everything returns to its place.
Unlike real stars, social upheaval is the norm of society. It is hard to believe that society will come to a state of eternal peace. For living organisms, this means death.
Society is a living organism, not a mass of planets strictly following the laws of gravity. And it will always think, search, make mistakes and act. This is the practice and features of social and humanitarian knowledge.
Attitude towards social and humanitarian knowledge
There's a lot to say, but not everything is to be believed.
Public consciousness is a system of feelings, views, ideas, theories that reflect social life.
Classic of the genre. There is nothing to add. The public consciousness of any country heard such and similar words, and paid the least attention to them.
It's good that there is a religion and an idea about the peculiarities of the religious worldview. This positions the rest of the public consciousness as a philosophy of material existence and dialectics.
But religion has never been a dogma, even whenI tried to convince myself of this and forced everyone around me to believe in it by torture, fires, inquisitions and other by no means noble deeds.
Philosophy has never yielded to religion, but has made its own mistakes, misleading the scientific world. All other social and humanitarian knowledge in all its disciplines was also mistaken, this is natural. There are as many white spots and black holes in society as there are in the entire universe.
It doesn't really matter whose idea is correct. Neither one nor the other applies to public consciousness, because to the extent that each of them corresponds to the objective laws of the universe, they simply form part of the current state of public consciousness.
It can be said that social consciousness is the sum of the existing consciousnesses of all people living in this society, adjusted for social ties with other societies.
But that doesn't follow either. No one will argue with this, as well as:
- no one will believe;
- no one will check.
Yes, this is the amount, so what? Even if not the sum, but the composition, intersection or union of sets of private consciousnesses, what does it change?
Levels and forms of social consciousness
Usually, having defined, as mentioned above, what public consciousness is, three levels are distinguished:
- ordinary consciousness;
- social psychology;
- social ideology.
Also there are such forms of social consciousness as:
- political;
- legal;
- moral;
- aesthetic;
- religious;
- philosophical
- scientific.
All these forms differ in:
- subject of reflection;
- shape reflection;
- to their functions;
- degrees of dependence on social life.
The fact that social consciousness is determined by social being, few will dispute, but isn't it social consciousness that imposes on each born person exactly how he should send his being, and why he is not allowed to change anything.
The characteristic features of social and humanitarian knowledge are to impose their social considerations on each individual from the school desk and look at how this individual will try to change something in his own way.
Public consciousness and personality
The fate of every individual is to go with the flow or take their own unique position in the public mind. Both of these are the normal state of affairs. Public consciousness is a self-organizing system of social relations. And the chances of an individual to destroy or change it are negligible.
But the individual always has the right to negotiate. Even in those societies where the most brutal dictatorship reigns. A society can be destroyed only by destroying all its constituent personal consciousnesses. But personal consciousness lives for a strictly defined period.
A person under the pressure of the dictatorship thinks onlyto yourself (maximum about your loved ones). And this is normal and natural, but it is wrong. We need to think about society. Dictatorship is not eternal, another person will be born and will continue what was started by those who decided to think not about themselves, but about society, that is, about the future. If the public consciousness allowed dictatorship into itself, perhaps there was a good reason for that. But since the dictatorship appeared, it means that there was no force capable of protecting society.
Social laws and society
Science as a practice and a theoretical concept, social and humanitarian knowledge as a system of sciences have always been and will be the most important component of public consciousness. Ordinary consciousness should not be mixed with social psychology and ideology. An aloof scientist can understand this and discuss something with interest with colleagues, but a tractor factory worker will not even hear what was said.
However, the subject of social and humanitarian knowledge is absolutely clearly defined by disciplines and has long been understood not only by the worker of the tractor plant:
- philosophy;
- sociology;
- ethics;
- right;
- history.
There are so many humanitarians and humanitarian areas, and social and humanitarian knowledge is so amazingly formed into a harmonious socially fixed infrastructure that only a blind person cannot mentally see the beauty and strength of the whole picture of the existing public consciousness.
Artificial social laws
History recalls many great empires that have ever existed. Archeology is recognized as a historical discipline, that is, it is also partly socialhumanitarian knowledge.
The results of archeology testify to the actual presence in the past of monuments of law, social administration, philosophy, ideology, morality.
The modern public consciousness not only remembers the results of recent social upheavals, but is also somewhat impressed. Few will argue with the fact that a he althy body is alive and well, and a sick person strives for a cure in every possible way.
Society is an integral system of relations. And this is a living organism, which deeply cares about its fate and he alth. This is primarily reflected by social and humanitarian knowledge: social sciences always keep pace with their society, they are an important part of it.
If something goes wrong, it means that a non-objective artificial law was formulated. By the will of power or money, or any other reason, this law was forcibly or peacefully introduced into public relations, but caused a proportional backlash.
The ocean of public relations stirred up, but followed the objective laws of the social structure and returned to normal. It is interesting that medical workers, for the most part, do not consider their important work to be science, and even not all of them attribute it to practice. Physicians divide themselves into specialists in preventive medicine and curative medicine. Some single out a separate group of therapists - medical advisers. But every medical worker takes an oath - not to harm, and clearly knows that the body must recover on its own, with its ownstrength in the first place. Only in extreme cases do you need pills and a surgeon's scalpel.
Mathematics of public consciousness
If the meaning, logic and the actual concept of social and humanitarian knowledge is correlated with programming, or rather, taken on faith that the concepts of a file, a folder and working with them are one and the same field, then a negative balance will immediately form.
It's like once mathematics contested the crown of all sciences from philosophy. Then everyone peacefully decided that to each his own, and each went about his own business.
Programming, of course, is a powerful thing, and not like some kind of social and humanitarian knowledge. But what lives longer, lives in this world and sees further: a machine that has nothing at all in its birth, or a social consciousness that has been formed over the centuries?
An interesting regularity of the social sciences and humanities, especially philosophy and sociology, an amazing ability to influence everything that happens. When computers first appeared, no one thought that they would easily perceive and form images, translate texts into other languages and evaluate human behavior.
But it's not just in demand these days, it's all extremely relevant. A lot of computer speci alties have appeared, the course of which not only includes modern social and humanitarian knowledge, but offers them in the format of really working ideas.
