What is secondary vocational education
You should immediately understand what constitutes secondary vocational education (VET), how in-depth the professions are studied, and also choose the level of training.
As a rule, in the 1st year they study school subjects externally according to the program of 10th and 11th grades. When a student completes the first year and moves on to the second, we can assume that he has a complete secondary education. But for this to be taken into account formally, you need to complete at least 2-3 full courses. The name of the speci alty is entered in the diploma of secondary vocational education, when only the disciplines that the student managed to study are indicated in the certificate of incomplete secondary vocational education.
SVE can be obtained at colleges, technical schools and colleges. As a rule, even in subjects related to the speci alty, there is no in-depth theoretical study. When can I go to college
Colleges, vocational schools and technical schools, as well as schools accept graduates of the 9th and 11th grades. Only in order to enter a college or school, you need to pass exams or provide the results of the OGE / USE. It is worth noting that, unlike universities, the requirements for admission are much less:
- you only need to take two subjects according to your profile;
- entrance exam (if required) much easier;
- tuition fees (on a paid basis) are cheaper.
