The history of the Technical University began in 1931 as a result of the appearance in the city of an engineering and construction institute - a branch of one of the universities existing at that time. Its creation was carried out on the basis of the mechanical engineering and metallurgical departments of several faculties.
The institute trains students in 4 undergraduate areas:
