If your child dreamed of becoming a pilot as a child and has not changed his desire with age, then the road leads him to one of the strongest educational institutions in Russia. We are talking about the Omsk Flight School of Civil Aviation named after A. V. Lyapidevsky.

Documents for admission

Admission to the flight school is possible for graduates of the middle and senior levels of a comprehensive school. Students in the ninth grade will comprehend the basics of flying for three years and ten months. Those enrolled in the flight school after the 11th grade will become qualified pilots in two years and ten months. In addition to the school certificate, you must submit a copy of your passport and military ID, a 3x4 photo, an application and the conclusion of the medical board. A medical board can be passed both at the flight school and special medical institutions.

Examination consists of:

  • dentist's office;
  • examinations with a narcologist and a psychiatrist;
  • dermatovenereologist's office;
  • doing blood tests for syphilis;
  • HIV test;
  • blood typing analysis;
  • cabinetfluorography;
  • X-ray of the sinuses.

The medical commission must also provide a 34 photograph, a medical policy and a personal medical card, which lists all vaccinations made to the applicant throughout life.

Exams and passing score

To the delight of applicants, the Omsk Civil Aviation Flight School does not have an entrance examination system. Admission is made solely on the basis of the final exams and the average attestation score.

School graduates take standard final exams - the Unified State Examination. On its basis, the commission makes a decision on enrollment in accordance with the minimum passing score adopted for the year of admission. The main subjects are mathematics (basic and profile), Russian language and physics.

Speci alties and form of education

Omsk Civil Aviation Flight School conducts full-time and part-time training, paid or budget places. Here students acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • flight operation of aircraft;
  • technical use of aircraft and their engines;
  • technical operation of electronic systems and flight navigation systems;
  • operation of vehicle radio and electronic equipment.

After successfully completing college, students are awarded college diplomas. Also, graduates get the opportunity to enter a higher educational institution - the St. Petersburg Academy of Civil Aviation forpreferential terms.

In addition, admission to a flight school eventually gives the right to work at Russian enterprises in the aviation industry according to the speci alty received.

Scientific and technical base of the college

Each of the speci alties presented in the college has its own equipped laboratories and scientific buildings. Students have at their disposal not only aircraft simulators, but also twelve real aircraft, among which there are MI-8 helicopters.

Electrical students spend hours not only in classrooms, but also in labs and battery charging stations where they can put their knowledge into practice.

Senior students conduct training flights at the Omsk Civil Aviation Flight School under the guidance of teachers - experienced instructors. The college has its own training airfield, located one hundred kilometers from Omsk. It is there that training flights are conducted and exams for knowledge of aircraft engineering are taken. In addition, the college pays great attention to the physical preparation of students.
