Returning in 1918-1919 to his homeland, to Odessa, the hero earned his livelihood by petty fraud, presenting himself in different places either as a chess player, or an artist, or even the groom of famous people. afterwards. Eugene Vidocq was born in the last quarter of the 18th century in France. Already in adolescence, he commits his first crime. Later, he enters the army, where he turns out to be not the best soldier and eventually deserts. Vidocq managed to convince everyone that only those who think like a criminal can effectively catch criminals. And he turned out to be right. The group he created with the name "Safety" lasted more than 20 years. And our hero managed, in the end, to reach the position of head of the office at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
