From history
The history of the college began back in 1947 with the creation of the regional cultural and educational school. In the first set there were 90 people who had to study for 3 years. The school had one department, whose tasks included training organizers and methodologists of club work. In 1959, the school received the status of a school, which was then renamed the School of Culture.

- Library science. Students are prepared for organizational and managerial, cultural and leisure, technological, information and analytical work in the field of librarianship.
