All students of higher and secondary educational institutions have to write tests and term papers, abstracts and projects throughout the entire period of study.
The most difficult in terms of execution, the number of literary sources used, the volume of text are term papers in subjects. Before writing such papers, the teacher should provide students with a list of topics, give recommendations on the literature and offer an approximate plan for writing a term paper.
Term paper writing plan
First, you need to draw up a plan for the term paper and outline the sequence of its implementation:
- Together with the teacher, determine the topic of the term paper.
- Select reference books, literature and other sources on a given topic.
- Research all these sources and select the information you need.
- The following is a rationale for the relevance of the intended topic.
- The introduction and the theoretical part of the study are being written.
- If there is a practical part in the work, then a practical part is drawn upsection: graphs, calculations, tables, charts, diagrams, etc.
- If the work is experimental, then the preparation and conduct of the experiment, its analysis and conclusions are described.
- Final part.
- List of used literature (bibliography) according to GOST.
- Applications.
- Title page design.
- Submission to supervisor for assessment and protection, if provided.
The course work plan includes an approximate content of the chapters:
Chapter 1. Contains a description of the problem, the theory of research on the problematic topic, historical experience related to this problem.
Chapter 2. An analysis of the subject of research is carried out, a description of its parameters and characteristics is given, previously put forward provisions are proved and argued, calculations are given and conclusions are substantiated.
The general plan of the term paper. Example

- Table of Contents.
- Introductory part.
- Main part (several numbered chapters).
- Conclusion (contains conclusions).
