The good structure of your first serious research is manifested precisely in a clear statement of goals and, more importantly, in accordance with the rest of the text of the course goal and the tasks arising from it. Therefore, the advice to write the introduction after writing the rest of the work seems dubious. That is, of course, it is possible to do this, but not every person is able to “adjust” the goal to an already existing structure. Therefore, listen to the recommendation of an experienced person - formulate the goal of the term paper and tasks immediately, and do not put it off until later.

However, it is almost impossible to clearly formulate everything you need to introduce immediately after choosing or receiving the goal of scientific work - you are still not deep enough into the topic, on the one hand, and you do not see the situation as a whole, on the other. The purpose of the research in the course work is not written immediately. It is written after you have "read", that is, you have already read a lot of works on your topic. Two types of teachers
Much depends on the personal characteristics of your supervisor and head of department. At the same time, there are people who care about the form, and there are those who pay more attention to the content. The first thing you need is scientism - a lot of borrowed terms (but you must understand them), verbal nouns, long and complex sentences with participial and participial phrases. The second need to see that you understand clearly and state well, because often insufficiently clear ideas are hidden behind complex language. Of course, the latter are more talented and smarter - if you come across just such a leader and you want to do science - you are lucky, he will teach. For such people, the goal must be formulated using verbs, as in the example above. But if you come across a "bureaucrat from science", then feel free to screw in verbal nouns. Boring? Yes. But do not argue with the authorities. While the verb version sounds better, it's worth tailoring to your supervisor, as they are the ones who have the right to vote on your grade.
You can argue with smart
Be mentally prepared for the fact that your clear, precise and such a hard-won goal will be criticized to smithereens. Is it worth arguing? With a smart leader - worth it if you can clearly argue your position. There is no need to argue with a fool - do as he says, this is not a thesis, evaluated by the State Examination Commission, when assessing a course supervisor, it is literally a king and a god. Are you not sure that you can formulate the purpose of the course work yourself? An example can be asked from the teacher and done by analogy.
But draw your own conclusions and look after yourself someone better next year. Smart people make mistakes, but they know how to draw conclusions. And in general, if you are not going to do science after high school, choose the most “easy” department according to reviews.
