Russian literature allows not only to enjoy the masterpieces of world culture, but also gives an idea of the richness of the language. Unfortunately, on the pages of classical works there are often some words that are unfamiliar to many modern people. Among them is the adverb "in vain." A colorful word will decorate the lexicon. “Vtune” is a sonorous concept, noble in its own way, associated with the classical literary Russian language. However, it is inappropriate at the household level: it is too out of touch with modern standards. You can add it to a public speech to focus the attention of listeners, dilute the conversation with abstract topics, but you should not add it to official documents or reports.
