Following a simple step-by-step guide, a child can easily draw a Tyrannosaurus Rex in just a few minutes. This article will be useful to everyone who does not know how to draw a dinosaur in stages. Step by step, simple lines will turn into an original drawing.
First step
- Draw a vertical line down the center of the page. It will help to position the dinosaur figure exactly in the center.
- Next, you need to draw the Latin letter S so that the upper rounding is slightly larger than the lower one, and the center of the letter intersects with a vertical stripe a couple of centimeters above the middle of the sheet.
- On the bend of the letter S, you need to draw an auxiliary smooth line that forms the shape of a droplet.
- On the bottom of the sheet it is necessary to draw a curved line that will indicate the surface of the earth.
Second step
At this stage, the dinosaur's head and tail are drawn. How to draw a head? Yes, very easy! The pencil must be placed at the extreme point of the upper rounding of the letter S and smoothly wrap the strip down,forming a nose. Further, the line goes to the expansion in the jaw area and goes to the border of the neck.
The bottom curve of the S is the midline of the tail. Two smooth stripes are drawn from its lower point, expanding towards the body.
Third step
The time has come to outline the back and front legs of the figure:
- To do this, to the left of the tail, put a pencil on the border of the previously drawn droplet and draw a narrow oval down. This will be the left paw up to the knee.
- The right paw begins to be drawn at the level of the middle of the droplet to the right of the tail, but slightly shifted from the center to the right. The line is not drawn straight down, but slightly inclined, approximately the same length as the top of the head. Next, the pencil is turned and a smooth strip is drawn down to the level of the left paw. Having drawn the desired height, the line is sharply rounded and lifted up. At the border of the intended droplet, it is bent and connected to the right border of the tail.
- The frame of the front paw resembles the letter V. The lower border is drawn from the border of the droplet, slightly above the hind paw. The upper border of the hand is also in the shape of the letter V, which smoothly turns into dinosaur fingers. Claws are drawn on the fingers in the form of triangles.
Fourth step
It is already known how to draw a tail, head and paws for a dinosaur. This means that a real tyrannosaurus rex can already be observed in the picture. It remains only to add the lines of the hind limbs below the knee. These are two ovals: a vertical shin and a horizontal foot.
In addition, at this stage, you need to drawlower jaw. To do this, a circle is drawn near the neck right under the expansion of the jaw on the head and from it a small oval in the form of the lower part of the mouth.
Next add details in the form of spikes along the backbone of the dinosaur. To do this, trace the letter S in the figure and draw triangles on it. They are slightly smaller at the head than on the back.
