In accordance with current safety regulations, personnel who must work with various electrical equipment must undergo proper training, as well as pass a knowledge test, for which special commissions are organized. After that, the student will be issued a certificate, which indicates the electrical safety group assigned to him. Only after these events, the enterprise issues an order to allow the employee to work independently with specific electrical equipment that needs maintenance.
Electrical safety group - a list of qualification requirements that divide electrical personnel into appropriate groups of persons, as a result of which responsibilities and duties are determined when working with the electrical facilities of the enterprise.
These ranks are determined not only by the minimum work experience with this equipment, but also by the nature of education (higher or secondary, technical or humanitarian, etc.), as well as the knowledge and skills gained during work.
The common name "electrical safety group" includes 5 categories:
1 groupdoes not require any specialized training and can be assigned to any non-electrotechnical personnel. This process is carried out after an introductory and primary briefing and subsequent oral questioning. The first electrical safety group is assigned to any employee of the enterprise who has basic knowledge about the dangers of working with electric current, as well as about providing first aid to a person affected by its action.
2 The Electrical Safety Team has the following requirements for non-electrical personnel:
1. Understanding the dangers of touching live parts and exposure to electric current in general.
2. Introduction to the operation of the plant.
3. Knowledge of safety precautions when working with this equipment and precautions.
4. Ability to provide first aid to the victim.
5. Employee must be of legal age.
This group allows non-electrical personnel to service electrical installations under the supervision of persons responsible for electrical safety.
3 group can only be assigned to a person who is part of the electrical staff. It allows independent work with electrical installations up to 1000 V. The requirements for obtaining this group are as follows:
1. Knowledge of equipment maintenance and operation.
2. Basic knowledge of electrical engineering.
3. Knowledge of TB, ability to provide first aid.
4. Permission to carry out work, supervision of the progressworks.
4 group - these are persons related to electrical personnel authorized to work with installations energized with more than 1000 V. Requirements:
1. Knowledge of a college-level electrical engineering course.
2. Ability to read electrical diagrams, knowledge of technical and organizational safety measures.
3. First aid knowledge, practical skills.
4. Conducting briefings, supervising the work.
5 The electrical safety group is assigned to persons who are responsible for electrical facilities. They supervise the course of work, give orders. Requirements:
1. Reading circuit diagrams of electrical equipment, as well as knowledge of the technological process of the enterprise.
2. Knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment, terms of use and requirements for them.
3. Conducting briefings.
4. Organization of work on any electrical installations.
5. Knowledge of PUE, TE and TB.
