General information
Pronouns in a sentence are used to replace some nouns and adjectives. For example, to avoid repeating someone's name all the time, you can use a pronoun. Or to indicate that an object belongs to someone. There are different types of pronouns. Let's take a look at some of them, and then you can do English pronoun exercises for self-examination.
Personal pronouns
This type is also called noun pronouns. Personal pronouns can take the form of the nominative case, and can also differ in their number.

Personal pronouns of the nominative case in sentences occur as a predicate. The semantic verb following the personal pronouns he, she, it in the Present Simple will have the ending -s. The pronoun it in English refers to inanimate objects. It will be translated into Russian as “he, she, it”, depending on the gender of the noun indicated by this pronoun.
Examples: He works every day. She likes reading books.

Possessive pronouns
The second kind of pronouns that everyone who wants to learn English gets acquainted with is possessive. They indicate that something belongs to someone. Possessive pronouns are also divided into two types. Adjective pronouns require a noun to follow them. Pronouns-nouns are used independently. Before doing the exercises with these pronouns, let's look at how both of these types look and are used. Adjective pronouns are listed below.

After all these pronouns, the sentence must be followed by a noun.

These pronouns are always used without the noun following them.
