“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end… Who is and who was and who is to come…” (Rev. 1:8)
Symbolics surround people from all sides. By studying the signs, a person expands his consciousness and can look at the world in a new way.
Alpha
Alpha is the symbol for birth in the Greek alphabet. In Syriac, Cretan and Sinai the letter was reversed and looked like a horned bull's head in the shape of a triangle. In various Aramaic, Palestinian and Attic versions, it leans to the side and, in the end, reaches our "A".
Greek alphabet
Currently, the Greek alphabet is used by the Greek diasporas in the Black Sea region of Russia, Southern Italy and Southern Albania, as well as by some Aromanians and Megleno-Romanians, Gypsies, Slavs and Muslim groups of northern Greece.
It is also widely used in science. For example, in chemistry when denoting organic compounds, in physics - many constants, quantities and others, in astronomy - angles, figures andplanes, the alpha symbol is applied. In mathematics, they denote, for example, the sine of an angle.
Greek letters
In ancient times, all letters had a sacred meaning.
Thus, the symbols alpha, beta, gamma and other letters of the Greek alphabet have different meanings. Let's take a look at some of them.
Alpha originally meant a bull and assumed the care of cattle, the increase and proper use of we alth.
Beta meant breaking unity and even possessed demonic properties. In some religions, it is identified with a challenge to God.
Alpha and beta are the first letters of the Greek alphabet. There are twenty-four letters in total. The article discusses in detail only two of them.
Omega means abundance and we alth, the apotheosis, the successful completion of the case. In its numerical equivalent, it means "faith" and "lord." Thus, this symbol means faith in God, regardless of the type of religion.
Omega's roundness is sometimes interpreted as an open hell. Omega is a circle, alpha is a symbol that personifies a compass, which draws this circle.
It is worth noting that the compass and circle are present in both Freemasonry and Taoism.
Why did Christ use Greek letters of the alphabet when saying "I am Alpha and Omega…"?
It's interesting that there is no letter in the Greek alphabet that corresponds to "B". Only "upsilon" (Y) somewhat resembles it in sound, but does not fully match.
It is curious that Aramaic andthe Greek alphabets are similar. Apparently, they have a certain common proto-language. However, the letters corresponding to each other before and after that are absent in the “B” position, that is, the Aramaic “Vav” does not have an analogue in the Greek language in the same position. Omega is only in last place, and in the Hebrew (Aramaic) alphabet - in sixth. I remember that Jesus, speaking in Aramaic, for some reason used "Alpha and Omega" in his speech.
The fact is that the worldview of the Hellenes consisted in the paramount veneration of the spiritual. It is "El" (spirit) that is the main one. Therefore, the most spiritual letter "Alpha", symbolizing the spirit, was in the first place, and the most carnal letter "Omega", perhaps, gradually moved to the end of the alphabet in the language.
Then it becomes clear why Christ used Greek letters. After all, if he had spoken in Aramaic, then the first letter "Aleph" would mean a bull, that is, what he said would mean "I am a bull." Involuntarily, an association with the veneration of the "golden calf" comes.
Alpha and omega in banknotes
If you look closely at the designations of banknotes, it becomes clear that they are some symbols. What do these signs mean? After all, when inventing the currency, the authors probably wanted it to prosper in the future.
Alpha and omega as a symbol is often found in many banknotes. In addition to them, you can find traces of yin and yang, Pi and more.
Explicit alpha is the British pound sterling.
Yin and yang lines are drawn in the US dollar and Israeli shekel, and inChinese currency - the number Pi.
Maybe a country that has its own currency symbol in the shape of Omega has a special role to play?
Omega is a symbol in magic
Magicians believe that magic appeared when a person learned to interrupt infinity.
Space initially consists of threads and their filler, which are constantly in vibration. You can hear them, influence them by changing the sound.
Each item has its own range. When you change it for something, the object may disappear or turn into another. But this can only be done by those who have freed their Spirit from the challenge that the Omega symbol carries.
Those who study magic with the help of symbols, signs, sounds feel vibrations in themselves and thus have some possibility of influencing the universe.
The Omega symbol is the most complex. It is the only one that contains the full matrix of the decimal code. Other symbols are meant to destroy the power of this.
Each person should strive to destroy it in himself or master it.
Omega consists of "O", meaning a single Spirit and Soul, and "Mega" - a challenge. That is, together the symbol denotes the challenge that the Spirit accepted. Its modern meaning may sound like the evolution of personality.
The symbol is the end for everything. Having known it, a person must transform the form - make ends meet and create a ring.
It is always used together with other characters.
Alpha is a symbol in magic
Mages believe thatthe expression "I am Alpha and Omega" can be said in one word "Alpha", since Alpha is the symbol of Omega in motion.
Getting its direction, the upper part of the Omega is stretched and sharpened. However, the stable symbol O does not allow Omega to shrink at the bottom. The dividing line, caused by internal tension, gives impetus to the emergence of Alpha. Only the effort of the human will can create it.
As long as the magician is striving for something, and his actions are subordinated to this goal, he can dispose of Alpha, and his possibilities become limitless.
"I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last…" is the oath that sorcerers make to themselves and gain the ability to use magic that can be used for both constructive and destructive purposes.
Mages believe that in cases where the Alpha symbol is placed next to the Omega, they, contradicting each other, cannot be useful and can even cause harm.
Alpha and Omega - the mystery of the symbol
The famous saying of God can be deciphered with the Pimander, the main opus of the hermetic vault, brought by a monk to Florence from Macedonia in the fifteenth century.
It reveals the deep mysteries of mind and light.
Based on some postulates that God is light, located in an environment that is not perceived by our ordinary consciousness, therefore it is called "Nothing" or "Outer Darkness". It surrounds God, having neither beginning nor end. God-light, on the contrary, contains all principles and has a beginning andend.
God-light has a border, a circle that is filled with light and at the same time does not belong to him or to the outer Darkness. This ring contains the secret of the birth of a number with a beginning and an end, and Omega appears from it.
God-light, making a loop in the outer Darkness with his rings, opens the circle below. There the word of God will be born.
Outer darkness penetrates the loop, and two darknesses arise - inner and outer. At the same time, the Darkness-inner is Divine and is subject to God. Here the mystery of baptism is revealed. John cleansed people by being in the water himself. So God, being in the outer darkness, cleansed himself and baptized. The essence of the cross is that it divides and advances towards God, and any evil spirits are afraid of it, since it will disappear during cleansing.
Two rings, approaching in the outer Darkness, turn it from boundless to limiting, and then, touching and partially intersecting when connecting the rotational and translational principles, create a new one - rectilinear movement or the principle of trinity. In Omega, it opens in a spiral.
In the material world, the Omega node is clearly visible in black holes in the universe. Matter is sucked into them in a spiral, forming dark matter or Darkness-inner.
Inside Omega, wet nature is formed, where countless forms and species are born. Further, energies are formed in chaos (hell), after which there is an equilibrium, constancy - the energies fluctuate steadily, leading to the birth of sound. And finally, the dead come to life.
New living forms emerge from live sounds. Furtherno forms appear anymore, but the remnants of darkness, uniting with the father, give birth to the Holy Spirit.
After the Divine light filled the upper space, forming a triangle, it can only illuminate the rest of the space with rays. The figures in the sign, formed during the separation of the living from the dead - Alpha, are symbols of the Divine Light.
Alpha and Omega - a symbol, upon comprehension of which some basic secrets of the universe are revealed. The essence of things and the energies that created them are seen in a new way, and a person, acquiring secret knowledge, can discover new abilities in himself.
