The grand opening of the swimming pool, commissioned by BSAU, adjoining the Youth Palace along 50th Anniversary of October Street, is a huge holiday for students. The swimming pool fully complies with modern requirements: it has eight lanes of twenty-five meters each, up to six meters deep, in the same place, in the complex, there are gyms, showers, and a sauna. There is an underground car park and a hundred parking spaces next to the pool. A diving center and a youth sports school are planned. It is so great to hold student sports events here! However, citizens can also visit the pool.
At the disposal of the university -six educational and laboratory modern buildings in the city of Ufa and one - in the city of Sibay. It is more than 90 thousand square meters. The buildings are interconnected by ground covered walkways. Also on the territory there is a stadium with a platform for various games and competitions and with treadmills. The university has seven well-appointed dormitories.
Objectives of the University
There are eight faculties in BSAU: forestry and agricultural technologies, veterinary medicine and biotechnology, mechanical, construction and environmental management, energy, economics, food technologies, management and information technologies. The main task of the university remains the same as always: a steady increase in the quality and efficiency of professional training of diversified, creative-thinking, enterprising graduates, who are so awaited by our agricultural production. There are 47 departments at eight faculties of BSAU, where more than 6.5 thousand full-time students and about 7 thousand correspondence departments study. Everything you need has been prepared for the students of this university: from original teaching methods to hundreds of textbooks, methodological developments and teaching aids created by the teachers themselves. About passing scores
By July 25 of each year, the final ranking list appears, which shows the total scores for the three entrance exams. Only then it is possible to determine the passing score in BSAU. Faculties and passing scores are not interconnected in any way: the result of last year, of course, is a good guideline, but no more. There can be quite significant changes in each new year.
A diploma with honors or a gold medal can give an advantage if other applicants get equal points, and the rest of the conditions are also equal. In any case, if the sum of points is equal in all entrance examinations, then applicants who have a higher grade in the profile subject get an advantage. And only if an equal number of points came out in the profile subject, they look at medals and diplomas with honors. This means that medalists should not rest on their laurels when entering BSAU. Faculties and passing scores for admission to them - that's what will excite every applicant.
For draft-age boys
There is a law on conscription, which says about deferrals from conscription. Such a right at the university is received only by students on accredited educational programs full-time. But even in this case there are conditions:
1. Mastering undergraduate programs, but in the event that no diploma has yet been received: neither a specialist, nor a bachelor's degree, nor a master's degree.
2. If the study is based on master's programs, but if there is no master's degree yet, and admission to the master's program occurred in the year of acquiring a bachelor's degree.
Entrance exams
When entering the BSAU for the first year of any form of education, the bulk of applicants pass entrance exams in the form of the Unified State Examination, only some categories of applicants pass a written test, which the university conducts independently. In the magistracy, you need to pass a comprehensive exam in the main subjects of the direction. Applicants to the second or third year are assessed in writing.
Separate categories of citizens who can take written entrance exams:
- who received a complete general secondary education before 1.01.2009;
- having a secondary vocational education, entering the program of the corresponding profile;
- having higher vocational education;
- foreigners;
- citizens of the Russian Federation with complete general secondary education obtained abroad;
- persons with disabilities (with mental and/or physical disabilities: blind, deaf, hard of hearing, visually impaired; with severe speech impairments, with musculoskeletal defects).
If these citizens passed the Unified State Examination in any subjects this year, then this result is taken into account, and these people are not allowed to take written exams conducted by the university. There are cities that take special care of people with disabilities, and one of them is the one where BSAU is located - Ufa.
Faculties
Total inThe university has eight faculties and another ninth - by correspondence. They are not all open at the same time and have a different, but always glorious history. In 2001, the Faculty of Food Technologies was founded at BSAU. The training of industry personnel is carried out here in various areas of undergraduate studies. Profiles - technology of winemaking and fermentation, technology of bread, confectionery and pasta - belong to the department of food products from vegetable raw materials. The department "Food products from raw materials of animal origin" trains students in the following profiles: technology of meat products, technology of dairy products. Future restaurateurs from BSAU study at the Department of Product Technology. The Faculty of Nutrition teaches masters in the same departments and in the same areas, but even more sophisticated.
Foresters and agronomists
The oldest faculty of the university, opened in 1930, the main one in BSAU, the heart of this agricultural university. Just as an agronomist is the most important person in any agricultural production, this faculty, which deals with agricultural technology and forestry, is the pride of BSAU. Faculties and speci alties of Ufa and the whole republic are well known. There are five laboratories, a cathedral library, greenhouses, and collection nurseries of vegetable and field crops.
There are three departments, and they are dedicated to agriculture and plant growing, soil science, botany, landscape design and forestry. The following specialized disciplines are taught: fodder production, crop production, land reclamation, fruit growing,vegetable growing, viticulture, breeding and seed growing, beet growing, technology of vegetable growing in greenhouses, floriculture, essential oil and medicinal plants, ornamental horticulture, the history of scientific agronomy and methodology, innovative technologies are also studied.
Zootechnicians and veterinarians
At the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, the material and scientific-pedagogical base is very strong and modern. There are four departments here: biochemistry, physiology and animal nutrition; morphology, pharmacy, pathology and non-communicable diseases; animal breeding and private animal husbandry; zoohygiene, infectious diseases and veterinary sanitary examination.
Profiles in the departments are also very interesting: cynology, tourism, processing of agricultural products and others. Like some other BSAU faculties formed by the merger, the veterinary faculty trains not only veterinarians, but even more difficult in name. In 2012, the Faculties of Biotechnological and Veterinary Medicine merged to create such a vast and well-equipped faculty.
Surveyors, meliorators, builders
There are 55 teachers at the Faculty of Construction and Environmental Management, including 13 professors and doctors of science, 24 associate professors and candidates of science. They teach 755 students only full-time. Five main specializations at the faculty: land management, land cadastre, city cadastre, environmental management, industrial engineering and civil engineering.
Bachelor's work on fourdirections: cadastres and land management, construction, water use and environmental management, remote sensing and geodesy. The faculty has courses for retraining, advanced training, and also operates the Institute of Nature Management. Known for scientific achievements outside the republic.
Mechanics and motorists
By 1950, there was a need to significantly expand the base of complex mechanization in agricultural production. The demand for engineering personnel of the agrarian profile has sharply increased. That is why BSAU now has a mechanical faculty, which has long developed an excellent material and technical base. There are three vast machine rooms with mechanical workshops, many scientific and educational laboratories with modern equipment, several computer classes.
Students use modern tractors, cars and agricultural machines, as well as many equipment. Moreover, the expansion of this base continues, the faculty is equipped with the most modern imported and domestic equipment. Here, in addition to obtaining special knowledge and basic higher education, applicants will be able to participate in educational programs and internships abroad, qualify as a tractor driver and driver of category "B", work in student construction teams, and engage in research.
Programmers and managers
The Faculty of Management and Information Technology was founded in 2005. It trains bachelors and highly qualified specialists who knoworganization, functioning and improvement of municipal and state administration systems that can analyze, create and implement, as well as support process-oriented information systems in economics, business, finance and accounting.
Economists and managers
The opening of the Faculty of Economics in 1966 is connected with the demand for the profession of economist in the organization of agriculture. Therefore, now it has the BSAU Faculty of Economics. There are two directions for the preparation of bachelors. The first is the economy itself, where the economy of organizations and enterprises, finance and credit, accounting, auditing, analysis, as well as taxes and taxation are profiled. The second direction is management, profiling production management and financial management. Masters do both in the direction of "Economics and Management".
Energy Engineers
This faculty appeared in 1998 under a different name, but in 2007 it was replaced, and the Energy Faculty of BSAU appeared. Here, specialists are trained in the areas of electrification and automation of agriculture, energy supply for enterprises, agricultural engineering, and thermal power engineering. The faculty prepares engineers for the power supply of agriculture, the electrification of technological processes, the power supply of agro-industrial complex and public utilities.
External students
Correspondence education was in this university almost initially, since 1932. Now there are 22 areas of training specialists. Very widely useddistance learning.
