Some sonorous definitions have long settled in speech, but their origin causes sincere bewilderment in most native speakers. Depending on the context, “yushka” appears before the audience in completely different roles. This is a capacious characteristic for boys with girls, and a non-standard designation for blood, and a synonym for your favorite fish soup. But which interpretation is correct? Young man or stew?
There are two terms with the same sound but different history. And in both, the meaning of the word "yushka" directly correlates with versions without the diminutive suffix -k-, which only introduces confusion. The least common concept in Russia is from the western regions, which stands for:

Perhaps this is where the allegorical definition for blood in general originates:
- his yushka went down the nose;
- let the yushka, etc.
How are the conditions of the tavern?
From the popular ones, there are two more bright designations that visitors to drinking establishments and villagers in the 19th century knew about:
- Colloquial name for a furnace valve.
- Glass vessel for vodka in Balkan countries.
And in everyday communication?
Contemporaries do not have to remember what "yushka" is. This word in some regions did not appear at all, in others it became obsolete.
