We often say: “How lucky he is!” Although we don't know exactly what this concept means. If you explain briefly and easily, then luck is a positive resolution of life situations. Some people are lucky in the workplace, others are lucky in their personal lives, others win the lottery, and there are the luckiest people who are constantly doing well, as if they had chronic luck. Even if something starts badly, then it suddenly turns into a happy ending. The names of such minions of fate can often be seen on the pages of newspapers or on television.
The luckiest person in the world is Croatian music teacher Frain Selak. During his life, he repeatedly found himself in terrible situations, but he always managed to get away with it. His run of trouble began in 1962.
A string of troubles
The train accident was the first of many accidents. For unknown reasons, the train in which Selak was traveling to Dubrovnik derailed. The entire train collapsed into an icy river. Everyone died, only a teacher from Croatia was able to survive, escaping with only a slight fright and smallscratches.
A year later, Frain was in a plane crash. He flew on an airplane to the city of Rijeka. Suddenly, the plane door flew open and Selak fell out. As a result, 19 people died. The Croat himself, again escaping with fright, bruises and scratches, fell into a haystack and survived.
And again, the luckiest man in the world, three years later, experienced a strong shock. The bus he was on went off the road. As a result, many died. And our lucky man, again in a state of shock, received only minor injuries.
Another incident
The next event happened in 1970, when Selak was driving in his own car. Suddenly, the car caught fire. In a matter of seconds, the Croat managed to get out of the burning car. In a moment it exploded. Frain was unharmed.
The next emergency happened three years later. The old fuel pump sprayed gasoline directly onto the running engine. There was a fire. This time, Frain Selak was left without hair - and only.
Then the luckiest man in the world lived quietly for 22 years. Until one day he was hit by a bus in his own hometown. Doctors during the examination stated the absence of any wounds at all. Only shock.
Last accident
A year later, Selak went traveling in his car. After turning on the road in the mountains, the Croat suddenly saw a truck that was rushing straight at him. He jumped out of the car, which stopped over a cliff, and hung on a tree. It was from there that he watched his carflew into the abyss. The result is a slight shock.
Fortune
In his declining years, fortune did not turn away from the music teacher. He was lucky enough to win a huge amount of money in the lottery.
What happened next in the life of a Croat? Different sources give different information. According to some reports, he distributed all the money he won to his relatives so that he would no longer tempt fate. The ego plans were to build a small chapel. Another source says that the luckiest man in the world bought a house, a car and married a woman 20 years younger than him. Frain Selak also considered his previous four marriages to be disasters.
