The Gubkin Institute in Moscow is one of the most prestigious technical universities in the capital, for many years it has been occupying worthy places in the ranking of Russian higher educational institutions. History - from creation to the present day
In 1920, on the basis of the Moscow Mining Academy, the petroleum faculty was first established. It was he who became the source of the creation of the modern University of Oil and Gas. In 1930, the academy was disbanded, and the Moscow Oil Institute was created on its basis.
