Copenhagen is the capital and largest city of Denmark. Monuments to famous Danes

Located between the moat of the citadel and the port, Langelinie is the most popular promenade in the wonderful city of Copenhagen. 17th century mansion
Nyboder Manor with narrow rows of yellow houses was built inmid-17th century by Christian IV for 600 families of sailors who served in the navy. This is one of the oldest residential areas - laconic and strikingly simple. The buildings of this area have become one of the attractions that Copenhagen is famous for. The capital annually receives a huge number of tourists who want to see the historical sites of this beautiful city.
Legendary Goddess Gefion
Gefion Fountain (1908) is installed at the entrance to Churchill Park, reminiscent of the emergence of the largest island in Denmark - Zeeland. According to this legend, the fertility goddess Gefion had to find land for her father, the god Odin. The Swedish king Gylfi promised her to give her as much land as she could plow in one day and one night. The goddess turned four of her sons into bulls and dug up most of the land, turning it into an island. The resulting cavity was filled with water - this is how Venus Lake appeared.
