The word "spelling" came to us from the Greek language. Orthos means "correct" and grapho means "I write". Therefore, when we do spelling analysis of a word, we simply learn how to correctly convey speech in writing. In other words, write the words correctly. In school textbooks on the Russian language, spelling analysis is usually indicated by the number 6. To do the analysis itself, you first need to determine the spelling that you will check. Most often, people make a spelling mistake when the spelling of a word does not match the sound composition. For example, "floor", "watch", "telephone", "notebook", "compote", "pencil case" and so on. But the abundance of such examples does not mean that you have to memorize all such words. In fact, you just need to choose the right rule with which you can check the spelling.

To parse a word by composition, you need to mark morphemes (make a morphemic analysis), and to determine the part of speech, it is enough to figure out what the search word indicates. All spelling rules can be divided into several specific groups according to the type of morphemes, namely:
- Orthogram based on the morpheme principle (a morpheme in a prefix, root, suffix or ending).
- Single or hyphenated writing.
- Separating "ъ" and "ь".
Having determined the type of spelling, you can proceed to the analysis itself. You need to do spelling analysis according to this scheme:
- Write a word for spelling.
- Insert missing spelling.
- Underline the spelling.
- Explain your choice and prove your spelling is correct.
- Write a test word or words with similar spellings.
