On the eastern borders of Russia there is a city unique in its location - Blagoveshchensk. It stands on the left bank of the border river Amur. The right bank is washed by the waters of the Heilongjiang River. This is another state - China. Not far from the embankment there is an educational institution, which is known not only in the Amur lands, but also outside the Russian Federation - this is the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School.

Founding an educational institution

This school for future officers of the Russian army has a not very long, but already glorious, eventful history. DVVKU of Blagoveshchensk takes its origins in another Far Eastern city - Vladivostok. It was in this seaport that it appeared a year before the start of the war by order of the People's Commissar Klimenty Voroshilov. Former cadets of the school, who graduated in 1941, courageously fought the enemy in the tragic years of the Great Patriotic War. It was their exploits that caused the award in February 44of the year of the Vladivostok School with the Battle Red Banner.

For 1941-1945 about 6,000 commanders were issued. 24 of them were presented for the award with the star of the Hero of the Soviet Union.

Relocation to Amur

4 years after the end of the Great Patriotic War, the Vladivostok educational institution was transferred by order to the land of the regional center of the Amur region. After 5 years, the Far Eastern forge of officer personnel began to bear the name of the Blagoveshchensk Military School.

From the end of the summer of 1958, the name began to sound in a new way: the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School. The day of January 13, 1969 went down in the history of the commander's university as another memorable date: the Annunciation DVOKU was named after the famous military leader, hero of the USSR, commander of the Victory Parade - K. Rokossovsky.

In the last month of the summer of 1998, the DVOKU changed its name again, becoming the Far Eastern Military Institute. A decade later, another name was marked - the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School.

In the spring of 2014, the DVKKU team received a new Battle Banner. A year later, a new name for the popular and respected university in the region became known - the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School.

Foreign relations

Any cadet of the military school in Blagoveshchensk is always visible from afar. Bearing, appearance, stately silhouette - all this cannot but distinguish a young fighter from the background of ordinarycitizens. Every student knows that he personifies the fighting spirit and traditions of the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School.

The combat history of this educational institution and the high level of teaching staff have done their job in shaping the high reputation of the university. As a result, involvement in the work to strengthen international relations, within which, already in 1959, in the DVVKU im. Rokossovsky began to accept students from different countries for training. The ranks of Soviet cadets were joined by future officers of the Mongolian People's Republic and the Korean People's Democratic Republic. People who have spoken Arabic and French since childhood have increasingly chosen Blagoveshchensk in the Amur Region.

At the moment, the circle of foreign students has been significantly expanded. Many representatives of neighboring countries begin their professional careers as cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School. Sudan, Angola, Namibia, Algeria, Yemen, Kyrgyzstan - applicants from these and other countries are happy to choose a famous university.

The multinationality of students of the educational institution is quite extensive, while it has a rather specific contingent for the Amur land. Nevertheless, the professionalism of the teachers is very high, which makes it possible to convey information very intelligibly: the language barrier has been successfully passed and does not affect the quality of training. The students themselves study the Russian language very diligently, take an active part in the daily life of the DVVKU. Rokossovsky, and the cultural life of Blagoveshchensk is not bypassed, if possiblerefusing to participate in thematic events dedicated to the work of Russian poets.

How to become a DVVKU cadet

In Russia, higher military educational institutions are very successful. Far Eastern Blagoveshchensk is no exception: the capital of the region is rich in universities. However, one of the most popular facilities where the highest competition for admission is conducted is the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School. This fact is explained by the great competitiveness of former students, their specialization.

To become a cadet in the distant Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region, you must first contact the military registration and enlistment office department at your place of residence. The set of documents is standard: a passport, certificates certifying the presence of special success in education, certificates of successful passing the exam. The results must correspond to the minimum scores that are set every year by Rosobrnadzor. Applicants in 2018 need to score at least 27 points in the profile-level mathematics exam, 36 points in the Russian language and pass the threshold of 42 points in the social studies exam.

There is also a category of graduates exempt from entrance examinations - these are, first of all, those who reached the finals in various intellectual competitions of federal and international significance, both with individual participation and in team participation, if this is provided for by the rules of the Olympiad. As a result of training, graduates become not only military specialists, but also civilian ones. The diploma contains entries on the assignment to the cadet of such civil and military speci alties as "Personnel Management", "Use of motorized rifle units", "Use of marine units", "Use of motorized rifle units (mountain)", "Use of motorized rifle units (Arctic)".

Achievements of modern cadets

Admission to a military school is the first important step for a future officer. It is necessary to make serious efforts and diligence in order to endure all the hardships of study, when it is necessary to show intellectual abilities every day, to meet high requirements for physical activity. The cadets cope with this perfectly well, which is confirmed by high results at the All-Russian level. So, for example, in 2013, the command school was declared the winner among Russian higher military educational institutions of the land direction - thus, the results achieved at the end of the training were noted.

The cadets showed their excellent knowledge more than once at various all-Russian competitions. In 2016, we won a convincing victory in the Suvorov Onslaught and the Sniper Frontier. In the same year, they became the winners of the "B altic Derby", also of federal importance.

Together with their teachers, cadets participate in sea voyages, ensuring the safety of sea routes in the Gulf of Aden, which is part ofArabian Sea. There they had to escort ships carrying oil from Somali pirates. They have successfully protected more than 90 ships and decals for the fight against pirates.

Mountain Arrows

The Far Eastern Higher Military Command School is the only educational institution that trains mountain shooters. Teachers to improve their skills exchange information not only with Russian specialists, but also visit India, Germany and Switzerland to exchange experience.

For preparation, the school has a seven-meter climbing wall, covering an area of 70 square meters. m. The design of the track is unique and allows you to adjust the terrain and the height of the ascent, thus creating different levels of difficulty. But cadets train not only indoors, under the guidance of the teaching staff they climb the mountain ranges of the country, they conquered the most difficult peaks, they took the highest peak in Europe and Russia - Elbrus.

For service in the Arctic

Also DVKKU of Blagoveshchensk became the first educational institution that trains frost-resistant Arctic shooters. Amur frosts with strong winds also contribute to this. But since there are no polar nights in Blagoveshchensk, almost 30% of the time the cadets study at night. They study explosives, engineering structures, and learn to provide medical care in arctic temperatures. Cadets are prepared for work at a temperature of minus 60 degrees. To prepare for this, special skill is needed,therefore, training is carried out with special types of weapons. For example, cadets can learn how to use the Kord sniper rifle, which is capable of shooting in 50-degree frost, punching an armored personnel carrier from a distance of 4 km. In the future, the cadets will serve at especially important, remote frontiers: Russia has a border of more than 22 thousand km, and these lands, as you know, are under close attention of various countries because of hidden natural resources.

Far Eastern Higher Military Command School is a unique educational institution for the Far Eastern region. During its existence, this university has given way to life for more than 25 thousand officers. Over the years, 27 graduates were officially named Heroes of the Soviet Union, 8 people were awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
