Czech universities are highly respected in Europe, because students receive a very high quality education in them. Some universities in the Czech Republic will be discussed in detail in this article, with a diverse focus: these are technical, humanitarian, economic, and medical educational institutions. Speci alties such as law and medicine are especially popular among Czech applicants. Charles University
This educational institution was founded in 1348 and immediately became one of the best universities in Europe. Now the university has seventeen faculties, of which fourteen are located in Prague, one in Pilsen and two in Kralov, where one sixth of Czech students study - more than fifty-three thousand. Of these, eight thousand are graduate students, twenty thousand are undergraduate students, and twenty-five thousand are in the master's program. The Faculty of Philosophy of the university is very popular among incoming foreigners, since the study programs are diverse and their number is large. In addition to historical and philosophical sciences, pedagogy, book science, logic, history and art theory, and much, much more are taught here.
Faculties
Philologists as part of their programs study musicology, cinematography, aesthetics, theatrical art, in addition to the Czech language and literature, which are purely characteristic of them, as well as Czech for foreigners. Linguistics, phonetics and philosophy, French philology and German language and literature are deeply studied.
Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, Korean, Chinese, Mongolian, Portuguese and eight other languages are taught from foreign countries (at the same time the culture of these countries: Indology, Sinology, Greek antiquity and Latin, for example), the culture of the southeastern, Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia.
Other speci alties
Translators are trained here for international communication in English, French, Spanish, German and Russian. Lawyers study on a mandatory basis for five years and only full-time, up to obtaining a master's degree. In 2015, eight hundred fifty-six applicants out of three and a half thousand began to study law - a very large competition for studying in the Czech Republic. Universities in many leading countries are more accessible.
Applicants to the Faculty of Natural History are tested for the prerequisites for education, additional tests are conducted in specialized subjects. Students study demography, biology, biochemistry, ecology, environmental protection, chemistry, geology, toxicological analysis and many other subjects. Future teachers, psychologists, economists and students of the Faculty of Humanities perform a fifth of the tasks in English, that is, knowledge of it is revealed even at the level of entrants. All compulsory subjects are studied within the framework of the curricula, in the bachelor's degree this is education and specialization in pedagogy, and in the master's program - psychology and pedagogy. The Faculty of Social Sciences studies Economics and Finance, Marketing and PR, Media, Political Science and Sociology. Of great importance here are historical sciences for international territorial studies, economic theory, corporate strategies.
Czech universities in teaching students very widely practice the system of internships and introduce them to scientific activities. Students spendhumanitarian research within the framework of special programs, where the objects of study are both environmental protection and ecology, as well as European philosophy and the history of European (including Czech) culture. Medics
Medical universities in the Czech Republic are present in sufficient numbers, and yet graduates of Charles University of all three medical faculties are extremely highly valued. The first medical faculty provides a full-fledged education with the title of universal doctor of medicine (medicinae universae doctor). They study only full-time, general medicine - six years, and dentistry - five. Approximately 700 new students begin their studies each year. There is a bachelor's degree, but only in special programs for nurses, physiotherapists and nutritionists - the training lasts three years.
The Second Faculty of Medicine has a six-year program of study in general medicine, where about four hundred new students are added every year. A three-year bachelor's degree is also included. At the Third Faculty of Medicine, general medicine is taught for six years, approximately one hundred and sixty applicants are admitted. In addition to the three faculties in Prague, there are the same ones in Pilsen - one with dentistry and general medicine, and two in Hradec Králové, the second one with pharmaceuticals.
Masaryk University

Masaryk University is one of the fastest growing universities in Europe and consistently ranks among the world's best higher education institutions according to the QS World University Rankings.
There are nine faculties and more than two hundred departments. In the Czech Republic, it is always the most popular among applicants. Education at the university is carried out in speci alties, the number of which exceeds one thousand four hundred. In total, the university teaches forty-one thousand students at a time, among which more than seven thousand are foreigners. For almost a decade, for this reason, Masaryk University has been the leader in the country in terms of the number of applications submitted by applicants. Teaching conditions
Czech universities almost all have their own admission rules. If an applicant wants to enter the University of Brno after graduation, then, having completed the necessary nostrification of the certificate and successfully passed the entrance tests, he will study for three years in the bachelor's program or five years in the master's program.
After graduating from the university and also the necessary nostrification of the received diploma, it will be possible to study at the magistracy for only two years. Technical University in Prague
Prague University of Technology, founded in 1707, ranks 156th in the world rankings and consistently ranks among the best universities in the world according to QS World University Rankings. There are eight faculties with twenty-four and a half thousand students enrolled in one hundred and fifteen programs and receiving four hundred and nineteen speci alties. A number of speci alties require absolute knowledge of the English language, since training in Czech is practically not conducted. Prague University of Technology produces highly qualified specialists who are always in demand on the labor market, this is most often due to a good knowledge of one or more foreign languages. The university cooperates with many large companies, such as Bosch, Scania, Toyota, Siemens, Skoda-auto, Ericsson, Honeywell, Rockwell and many others, who are glad to see graduates of this university. A technical speci alty obtained at this university is a guarantee of successful employment. Moreover, the competition for technical speci alties is lower, and there are more foreigners, and nevertheless, graduates are in high demand by the most famous international companies.
Brno University of Technology
This is the oldest university in the city of Brno, whose history began with the opening in 1849 of the German-Czech Technical School. It now provides training in classical technical speci alties in their widest range, future architects and art historians study here, and there are multidisciplinary programs at the intersection of natural sciences, medicine, economics and engineering.
According to the QS World University Rankings, the Brno University of Technology occupies a worthy place in the list of the best higher education institutions in the world. Palatsky University
One of the most important Czech educational centers is Palacký University, which is located in the small town of Olomouc. Founded in the sixteenth century, this university still holds the banner of classical university education high, although now it is already a completely modern educational institution that can offer students the latest educational programs.
There are eight faculties and twenty-three thousand students (that is, a fifth of the city's population - truly it can be called student).
