RUDN University in Adler in 2018 turned 20 years old. The advantage of this educational institution is the combination of all levels of practice-oriented education, strong language training and the use of the mechanisms of world educational interconnections.

Sectionsecondary vocational education

Established in 1998 at PFUR Adler. Most of the professions that can be obtained at the Sochi Institute of RUDN University are included in the one developed on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin's list of TOP-50 in-demand and promising professions in 11 areas of training.

Higher education

At RUDN University in Adler, the faculties are as follows:

  • The Faculty of Economics was established in 2008 and has the following departments: National and World Economy, Finance and Credit, Mathematics and Information Technology.
  • The Faculty of Law was established in 2008 and has the following departments: Civil Law and Procedure, Criminal Law and Procedure, Theory and History of State and Law. The most successful undertakings: the legal clinic of free legal aid provides an opportunity for students to acquire practical skills throughout the academic year; student scientific society "Areopagus"; student scientific society "Comparative"; student scientific society "Votum".
  • The Department of Biomedical, Ecological and Veterinary Directions was established in 2017 and has the departments of Physiology, Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Sanitary Expertise. The achievement of the university can be considered the binding of teaching to the parallel practical assimilation of the acquired knowledge. Several days a week, classes are held on the territory of the Research Institute of Medical Primatology (Gumaria). Also partners of the institute are the All-Russian Research Institute of Floriculture andsubtropical crops; Research Center for Balneology and Rehabilitation, Russian Geographical Society; Caucasian Biosphere Reserve; Ornithological park.

  • The Faculty of History and Philology was established in 2008 and has departments of the Russian language and its teaching methods, Russian and foreign literature, and general history. Most successful international projects: teaching French students from the University of Bordeaux III. Michel de Montaigne under the program "Russian as a foreign language: basic level"; corporate training for employees of the Austrian construction company STRABAG Societas Europaea.
  • The Department of Foreign Languages was opened in 1999. Participates in many international projects: Karja College and the University of Turku (Finland), the University of Bordeaux (France), the University of Bayreuth (Germany), the University of Madrid (Spain), the College of Jackson and the University of Huntsville (USA), University of Waterford (Ireland), University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens (Greece).
