Irregular verbs differ from regular verbs in terms of formation. When using the regular verb in the past tense or as a participle, the ending -ed is simply added. For example, smile - smiled.
Another situation with an irregular verb. Under the same conditions, its transformation is carried out more difficult, in a special way. Instead of the ending, you need to know the second and third forms of the irregular verb. For example, fall - felt.

Explanation
Thanks to the exercises, irregular English verbs will be remembered pretty quickly. The tasks described above simply show the general direction in which to train. Sample sentences from assignments can also be used in everyday conversation, and therefore you need to be prepared for this and not get lost when irregular verbs appear. The main thing here is training, words and forms will be automatically stored in memory.
When practicing, do not be shy to use various forms of irregular verbs. If you make a mistake, nothing terrible will happen - you can always look at the table, but the correct option in your head will definitely be postponed. As already mentioned, 50 entry-level verbs are enough, and with proper discipline, learning them will not be difficult.
But don't stick to the "temporary is the most permanent" principle. As soon as you have left the initial level of knowledge, learn new irregular verbs.
