The history of school No. 137 in Kazan begins a long time ago. The path of becoming this general educational institution was long and difficult, but thanks to the friendly team, active children and competent conduct of the educational process, it achieved a serious result.
A moment of history
MBOU Secondary School No. 137 began its main career in 1932 as school No. 1. It was originally built for the children of the workers of the Gunpowder Factory.
The government pursued an active policy of settling all parts of our country, and with the development of land, there was a need to build a gunpowder factory, preferably at the junctions of water and land routes, as well as zones of maximum concentration of consumers. Kazan was ideally suited for its location - ammunition was delivered to different regions along the Kama.
In the beginning, the company had a serious selection of people capable of bearing responsibility and having a high experience. Proven soldiers and officers were selected to the plant. A little later, a specialized school was opened, in which the children of the employees of the enterprise studied the working profession. In 1963 it became school number 137 inKazan.
One of its first directors was Pavel Yakovlevich Filipov. And the pride of the school and the object of respect is the Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot Nikolai Georgievich Stolyarov, who graduated from it twice in his time.
