German philosopher Martin Heidegger wrote that man is a being living in the future. If you develop and partly explain a thought, then the main thing in a person is a plan, dreams, some kind of plans. There is a difference between the concepts, and we will analyze it. The main task can be formulated as follows: to answer the question of what is the intention.

Meaning

Everyone knows at least a little about the subject of our conversation. Of course, an adult is more knowledgeable in the matter than a child, because he accumulates a whole bunch of unfulfilled desires, a boy or girl lives one day and does not think about anything like that. But they have everything ahead.

As always, to set the framework for the conversation, we turn to the explanatory dictionary in search of an answer to the question of what is the intention:

  1. Conceived plan of action, activities, intention.
  2. Inherent in the work of meaning, idea.

Both values are known. True, when a person leaves the walls of the school, he somehow forgets about the second meaning of the word. All that remains is the feeling that the idea is a plan. But it's not reallyso. We will answer the question of what is the intention, as well as delve deeper into the essence of the phenomenon. We need to compare three concepts. Which? They are given in the subheading below.

Plan, plan, dream

Words are not in random order. There is a certain logic to the degree of specificity here. A plan is something that needs to be done. For example:

  • plan for the day;
  • game plan;
  • plans for the evening.

It is clear that Berlioz, for example, also had plans, but they were not destined to come true. But we insist that the plan is specific. At least the person clearly imagines it. It is also clear that reality can make any adjustments to ideas.

The situation is already worse in this sense. It can become reality, or it can disappear, remain at the level of a vague idea. What is intent? It's nothing more than a vague sensation.

In a dream, as a rule, there is even less physicality, if I may say so. A dream has many meanings, but we need one that meets our intention, that is, number 2: "The object of desires, aspirations." I must say that these desires are cut off from the earth and realities. True, it also happens that a dream becomes a plan according to which a person’s whole life is built, but this rarely happens.

We hope the reader understands the meaning of the word "intention" and the subtleties of its use. We tried to explain everything in an accessible way.
