Our century can rightfully call itself the "age of reports". Stationery expressions are being introduced into the spoken language, not to mention the official one. It is all the more important to know the spelling of such stamps, which, for example, are the expressions "according to the act" or "act". How to spell and pronounce this phrase correctly? There are several such controversial phrases in Russian, so this point needs to be clarified.
Moving towards reduction
If we go back 100 years, to the times of Russian (not Soviet) literature, we will be surprised to note the colossal difference between the turns of speech adopted at the beginning of the last century and the wording of our time.
For example, L. N. Tolstoy in his novel "War and Peace" can be found a compound sentence with 28 simple sentences. You can afford to speaksuch phrases?
Unfortunately, the times when this was a common practice of communication are a thing of the past.
In the age of computer technology, a different style of speech is in demand - capacious, short, unemotional, as close as possible to stationery. And even this style has undergone significant changes: the expression "dear sir" has changed to "dear F. I. O." It would seem that the difference is small, but there is not even a trace of an emotional relationship left. In connection with the transformation of the Russian language, there is confusion with the use of such forms as "according to the act" or "act".
Assimilation of spoken language
Along with the simplification of phrases and sentences, clerical stamps penetrate into the colloquial and literary language. On the one hand, this is quite convenient: there is a ready-made formula that is used in certain situations, prescribed by vowels and unspoken rules. In view of the frequent use, the phrase becomes a cliché and is applied to the place and not very much. But if at the beginning of this process "inconsistencies" cut the ear, today mass addiction has already formed to them.
In addition, this style is quite convenient for a number of reasons:
- no need to clarify anything, since the stamp is used in a certain semantic context;
- the consistency and accuracy of clericalism eliminates ambiguity, which is very useful in terms of formalizing some agreements;
- in this case there is no place for the use of non-literary turns;
- excluded anyinappropriate emotionality: "nothing personal - just business."
The formula "according to the act (or act)" meets all the stated conditions, since any unnecessary additions are excluded in the context of its scope. The sentence beginning with this phrase states only dry facts and figures - and nothing more.
Linguists' opinion
The opinion of Russian scholars on this issue, of course, is far from optimistic. In their opinion, there is a "death" of the Russian language. And it is. However, this process is formed in connection with the development of industry and science, when a quick response to an emergency situation is required and there is no time to wrap words in beautiful phrases. So clichés and clichés came in handy here.
However, it is impossible not to note the changes that have occurred in colloquial speech, "leaked" from the stationery. We are used to "helping" instead of "helping"; we "make an attempt" but do not say "try". And some appeals to the press with words of gratitude resemble clerical reports: "This appeal was written by me in order to express gratitude to the staff of the clinic for the conscientious performance of their duties…"
And similar to it: "According to the act (or act) drawn up when visiting the needy, specialists handed gifts to minors on the occasion of the celebration of the New Year." If this is translated into Russian, then adults congratulatedhappy new year children.
About case beads
Clerical word forms are distinguished by monumental case constructions. And this is especially true of the genitive case, which allows the formation of large-scale verbal constructions without compromising the meaning of the sentence. For example, a familiar phrase: "In order to improve the quality of service, video surveillance is being carried out."
By analogy with these models, a contradiction arose between the formulas "according to the act" or "act". However, the correct spelling of this phrase involves the question of the dative case "to what?", since the preposition "according to" can only be combined with this case.
Thus, the answer to the question: "According to the act or the act - as correct", - will be in favor of the dative form of the noun, forming a combination with the preposition "according to". That is, one must write and say "according to the act", and nothing else.
