32 Lyceum (Vologda) can rightfully be called one of the oldest educational institutions in the city. In 2002, the Lyceum celebrated its 100th anniversary birthday.
History
As already mentioned, in 2002 the lyceum celebrated the centenary of its foundation. This festive event was a kind of result of the two-year work carried out to study the history of the native women's lyceum.
Deep study of history began from the moment when, during the preparation for the event, it turned out that the lyceum is the successor of several educational institutions that existed before the 60s of the last century. On the basis of studies conducted by students under the guidance of history teachers, it was found that as early as 1902, on the basis of the decision of the St. Subsequently, the gymnasium moved several times, and four years after its opening it was transformed into a gymnasium.
With the coming to power of the Soviets, the gymnasiums were liquidated as a species, the educational institution itself was transformed for the joint education of young people and girls. The gymnasium became a school of the second degree, that is, init taught children from the fifth to the seventh grade.
In the thirties the school was completely liquidated, in its place a new Cooperative Technical School was opened, which lasted from the 30th to the 32nd year. After that, the school building was transferred to the management of the 5th school that existed at that time, belonging to the second degree of education.
After the end of the war, the school again began to accept only girls for education. In 1956, it was transformed into a boarding school, where only girls could also study.
The school received its current number 32 only in the sixties of the last century. Previously, it was believed that it was from this moment that its modern history begins. The school moved to the address: Kirov, house 35, where it is still located.

32 Lyceum (Vologda) has been located at 35, Kirov Street since it moved into the house in the 1970s.
The status of the lyceum was assigned to the school only in 2008 on the basis of the Decree issued by the head of the city. As a result, school 32 received the appropriate license and accreditation, which allows it to conduct the educational process according to the programs provided for the lyceum.

Food at the Lyceum
32 Lyceum (Vologda) invites parents of students to try the food that canteen employees feed their numerous customers every day. Every year on September 24, an open day is held here, in which every parent can come and try the first, second courses and local pastries to make sure that his child will be tasty and satisfyingly fed.
