A large reward was promised for his head - the Sheriff of Nottingham could not catch the noble robber. Robin Hood could not be caught or killed, because among the common people he had a huge number of adherents who always warned the hero of the danger.

After the return of King Richard, Robin and his comrades laid down their arms and swore allegiance to the monarch. So the robberies in Sherwood stopped, the people were waiting for good changes.
But as history has shown, the changes were short-lived: the king again went to war with the infidels, and injustice again reigned over the poor peasants. But the hero no longer came to the rescue - he died, but not from enemy weapons, but from vile treason. Tired and sick, Robin came to his distant relative, a nun, so that she would bleed him (such treatment was widely used in medieval Europe). Finding out who was in front of her, she opened a vein and left the hero to bleed. When the door slammed behind the woman and the bolt closed, the shooter realized that his end had come. He blows his horn to call his friends, but help comes too late. Feeling the approach of death, he bequeaths to Little John to bury him in a wide grave lined with pebbles and grass, and put his faithful bow next to him.
