The development of preschoolers is not always at a high level. Sometimes you have to make special efforts to develop certain skills in children. For this, psychologists-teachers are developing a correctional and developmental program. It focuses on specific skills that require special attention.
It also happens that a particular child has problems, then an individual correctional and developmental program is used to solve them.
Correction program "Let's be friends": relevance
In the process of development, the child goes through many stages, and all of them are associated with interaction with peers. It has long been known that without communication a person cannot exist in society. Communication is at the core of personality development.
Features of communication between preschoolers are its diversity, emotionality, unusualness andinitiative. But not everything is as smooth as it seems - very often conflicts arise between preschoolers. It can also be due to emotional disturbances. This is where a correctional development program will be needed. It is mainly aimed at children of older kindergarten groups who have any problems in the communicative sphere.
The correctional development program for preschoolers includes 3 cycles:
- "Is that me?" Goal: reduce anxiety, aggressiveness, increase activity and self-esteem.
- "Me and my feelings". Purpose: to increase knowledge about emotions and their understanding.
- "Me and my friends". Goal: Improving the communication skills of preschoolers.
What the correctional development program teaches: goals and objectives
The purpose of this program is to change the emotional and volitional sphere of the child, reduce the level of anxiety, improve communication skills.
Tasks:
- Teaching preschoolers to recognize emotions and feelings.
- Reduce their anxiety.
- Develop openness.
- Teach empathy.
- Help children build the right equal relationships with their peers.
- Teaching patience.
In order to solve these problems, the correctional development program includes the following methods of work:
- psychogymnastics;
- relax;
- drawing;
- sand therapy;
- discussions on the issue;
- games with a psychological bias;

- breathing exercises.

For efficiency, the correctional development program uses the following diagnostic techniques:
- Methodology "Engine". Identification of positive and negative mental states of a preschooler.
- "Ladder". Using this technique, the level of self-esteem of preschoolers is determined.
- Zakharov's Questionnaire. To identify fears or their absence.
- Questionnaire M. Dorki, V. Amen. To identify the level of anxiety.
- Drawing a person or non-existent animal. Using this technique, you can find out the characteristics of the individual.
- Romanov's Questionnaire. To identify the level of aggressiveness.
- Conversation with preschoolers.
- Observing study sessions or free activities. It is especially good to do this when watching preschoolers in a role-playing game.
- Questioning a teacher according to the Romanov questionnaire.
