Currently, Cherepovets Metallurgical College is a well-known budgetary educational institution in the region that trains skilled workers and mid-level employees at Severstal enterprises in the city.
This educational institution, which has passed a relatively short path of formation and development, has taken a worthy place among all other colleges in the city and the entire Vologda region.

College History
The history of the college began in 1952, when the evening construction college was opened. Later, the technical school was first renamed industrial, and then appropriatedits current name is metallurgical.
For the entire period of its existence, the Cherepovets Metallurgical College has produced about 15 thousand qualified specialists.
At the moment, the college offers its applicants to choose one of nine speci alties for admission.

Metallurgical Cherepovets College is very popular among young people. Dormitory
To all non-resident students, the college management offers accommodation in a hostel. There are two in total. One is located at Komsomolskaya, house 6, and the second - at Stalevarov, house 28, that is, very close to the educational institution itself.
Both dormitories are equipped with everything necessary for students to live. Students live in comfortable rooms, on each floor of the hostel there is a kitchen and a separate shower room, which is very convenient.
