History
The University begins its history in 1963, when it did not yet have this status, but was called an institute. The first rectors deservedly bore the title of heroes, were professors, doctors. In honor of the second rector, Moiseenko, the university square was named.

2013 became a significant year in the history of the academy, it celebrated its first major anniversary (50 years since its foundation). During this time, about 25 thousand specialists, true professionals in their field, doctors with a capital letter, who have achieved a lot in medical practice, have become heads of medical institutions, candidates and doctors of science.
