What school is this?
The Institute is a non-profit autonomous organization of higher education. An educational institution appeared in 1995 in Moscow. It was created with one main goal - to provide high-quality training of personnel in higher education programs, to provide people with the opportunity to obtain a bachelor's degree and a speci alty for further work in the field of foreign economic activity.

The Institute of International Economic Relations offers applicants 2 areas of training at the first stage of higher education:

The directions are focused on the training of international-level specialists, therefore the profiles are offered accordingly. When choosing an economic direction, students will have to study on the "World Economy", and when choosing "Management" - on the "International Management". Entrance tests
On the proposed areas of training, 3 exams are installed. Applicants toinstitute for "Management" you need to pass mathematics, Russian and a foreign language (English, German, French or Spanish), and for "Economics" - mathematics, Russian and social studies. Examinations are held either in the form of the Unified State Examination or in the form of entrance examinations. The form of change is determined by the admission rules.
The results of the exam should be provided by persons with secondary general education. Entrance examinations (the form of which is testing) within the walls of the institute are applicants with secondary vocational education, as well as those people who are disabled, foreign citizens or have limited he alth opportunities.
Minimum passing score in IMES
Only those persons who have overcome the minimum threshold for exam results can apply to the Institute. It is determined in points. For mathematics in both areas of training, the minimum score is set at 27, for the Russian language - 36. To enter the "Management" a foreign language is required to pass at least 22 points, but for admission to the "Economics" you need to pass social science at least 42 points.
It's easy to pass exams for such results. The minimum value corresponds to the "three". If the level of knowledge is very low, then it is recommended to devote time to preparation. The Institute of International Economic Relations does not conduct special courses. For preparation, you can choose any other educational institution or find a tutor in the right subjects.
Studying at the university
Students studyin this institute is practically no different from the study of students in other higher educational institutions. Classes start at 9:30-10:00. Students listen to and take notes on lectures, participate in discussions, write tests, etc. The school day ends at the university at 16:00–17:00.
